Integrals

This small integral was forged from a 1/2" round bar of W-1.  It is a full-tang integral, so it is a good example of how a complete knife shape can be forged from a round bar and the round "bolster" is the essentially the untouched parent bar.  the bolster area measured .45" after the final polishing, so the bar only lost five hundredths of an inch throughout the forging, grinding and polishing process.  The overhead shot gives a good idea why the integral can be a tricky knife to make.  If the four radii from the blade and the handle are not absolutely equal, the knife can look wrong in a hurry.
