This slightly smaller knife is a great, tough fixed-blade knife that will give a lifetime of service, but at a lower price than some of the others. The full-tang blade is forged from O-1, and differentially tempered. The blade has a distal taper and a tapered tang to reduce weight. Since there is no guard, and thinner micarta scales, it is the lightest of the full-size military knives. The scales are attached with three hollow stainless steel pins, allowing the rear or even the front pin to double as a lanyard hole.
